Help me navigate this moral dilemma.
Wikimedia Foundation is flush with cash from big donors and paid more than $100MM in salaries in FY24 with execs making $300k+ annually. This makes their annual fund drives (you've seen the banners) seem disingenuous.
I have been supporting them with $5/month for years now, not because they need my money, but because I strongly believe in free access to knowledge & that this org should be funded primarily by small donors.
So, should I keep doing this?
