Annnnd I get to spend the end of the work day combing through the ToS and Privacy policies of an AI meeting analyzer service one of our customers are using in meetings to hand to our executives to go slap them around a bit to get them to Stop Doing That
It's interesting because while we're not the customer of the service, it's our proprietary and trade secret data and processes that's getting analyzed and sent to probably hundreds of sub-processors(advertisers, analytics, more so training data). And since we're not the customer, and we're in America, said AI company won't recognize us as valid complaintants to stop processing our data 🫠
We really need data privacy laws in the USA
