@d6 ngl it was not an easy thing to figure out - most time I spent watching it crash in mysterious ways due to NewPtr returning allocated memory not aligned how femtolisp expects it. On certain System version + cpu combos it's 4 bytes alignment instead of 8.
I think that was the biggest issue, apart from having to specify SIZE resource so it actually gets some ram to use.
