[#]WritersCoffeeClub Day 13: What's your favourite trope? Do you lean into it for your work or shy away?
I don't know the tvtropes word for it, but "nerd rage" -- when a person who's been following the rules (instead of having fun) discovers they won't actually benefit, and consequently flips shit much much harder than anybody expects from the little goody two-shoes.
