I finally managed to get my printer printing decent images.

It seems there were two main problems.

1. The rollers were all filthy

2. Every time I cleaned the rollers they got filthy again, because it was also full of cat hair.

Point 2 became apparent after it finally agreed to spit out said blob of black inky cat hair.

Hooray! I can print again!

I think no one is too interested, but the victory was too great for me not to post about it, sorry.
