@b100dian You're right of course, by the nineties hard drives were common (a requirement from Windows 2.1 even). But I started out on 8-bits, followed by RISC OS (OS stored on ROM) where hard drives were much less common. I don't recall exactly which year I got my first hard drive, but I do remember it had a massive 210 MiB capacity 😮!
