Thinking about this asymmetry in power when someone lies.
If A is lying to B, A knows A is lying to B and B doesn't.
A also has time to predict how B will react to finding out they were being duped
They can also think about what leverage B has, what consequences they can deal to A and how to minimise their ability to do so in advance.
