Bearing in mind the basic tenet that the purpose of the economy is to see to the wellbeing of the people and natural environment, I propose a housing crisis fix that maximises benefit to the wellbeing of local communities:
Step One:
Everyone who lives in a house they don’t own, that has lived there for more than two years, automatically becomes the owner of said house.
