Today's moment of zen coming to you from Gittos domain in Blockhouse Bay.
This area gets its name from the fortified house that was built overlooking a portage used by Maori, as there was real concern that Waikato iwi would use this route to attack Auckland settlers. Today I am using it to attack all of the Christmas dessert I've consumed.
Struggle without end.
