An interesting thing from Supercon this year: people used to talk about my "infectious enthusiasm"; this time, I heard "cult of personality".
It struck at my last few years in burnout—which have kept me from BUILDING and SHARING, in favor of just kinda going "oo shiny!" & "I built a thing once." It hasn't felt great.
To be clear, it's still a sort of compliment. But I want to be known as a creative & curious Builder – not just a conspicuous hairstyle & perky demeanor.
Slowly coming back! 🫶
