ok this is like, a symptom of the shittiness of the system

for one, trip.com is like, the SHEIN of ticket sellers, their app feels so overly complex and stupid and weird

2-3. Split ticketing is bullshit and imo should not exist

If I'm doing a trip as simple as Aberdeen to Edinburgh, I should not be collecting 4 tickets for that

That's really annoying, especially when, some TOCs, don't keep your seat reservation in a consistent place, so you have to move round the train mid journey :/

Cross border ticketing is a pain in Europe, but in general from my own experience it's fairly simple to book tickets in all the countries I've been to
