All together now!

This image took... a while to edit. Whilst I'm not completely happy with the colours but my laptop struggled enough editing this, I thought I'd give it a break. (holy shit the CPU is at 82C and 100% on all cores trying to open it???)

Sadly.. this photo was not one photo - this was 4 stitched together in darktable. I wish I could get this photo in one go but given the way the BTS here in Bangkok works, that's incredibly unlikely.

It was taken from the side of W1 National Stadium station, facing CEN Siam station.

I was in Bangkok yesterday and I decided to go back to this line of decaying and unused locomotives near Krung Thep Aphiwat main station, especially now that I have more of an idea of what I'm doing when it comes to Darktable.

ok this is like, a symptom of the shittiness of the system

for one, trip.com is like, the SHEIN of ticket sellers, their app feels so overly complex and stupid and weird

2-3. Split ticketing is bullshit and imo should not exist

If I'm doing a trip as simple as Aberdeen to Edinburgh, I should not be collecting 4 tickets for that

That's really annoying, especially when, some TOCs, don't keep your seat reservation in a consistent place, so you have to move round the train mid journey :/

Cross border ticketing is a pain in Europe, but in general from my own experience it's fairly simple to book tickets in all the countries I've been to
