I’m off to make three sheets of pastry:

One for mince pies, the other 2 for an apple pie.

Please keep me in your thoughts and send your good wishes. If you hear a disembodied scream you will know that it is me and that things are not going so well.

I’m going to listen to the audio version of “The Bear and the Nightingale” by Katherine Arden in an attempt to not be fully present while wrangling the pastry demons.
