The movie “Juror #2” had a great concept, but nothing about the plot held up to even a moment’s scrutiny. Completely mad.
Spoilers, but:
• It requires us to believe that a post mortem can't tell the difference between injuries from being hit by a car and injuries from a fall.
• It requires us to believe the defence, when someone died on a road at night, wouldn't put forward the theory that a car accident was the cause.
Maybe the book worked harder to get around these problems but the movie sure didn't. Lazily directed/edited as all #ClintEastwood movies are. He should retire. Good performances though, respect to Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette.
