I understand why "MPIA" might be appealing, but at this point I kind of yearn for the days when politics was routine and outwardly boring. There's something very appealing about the government just running along so that you don't need to spend most of the time concerned over the latest political news/post. Yes, you can dig into various legislation which is interesting in a nerdy kind of way, but if all of Congress, the judiciary, and the executive branch honored their oaths to the Constitution etc., and worked together for the good of the country rather for their own personal gain, that would be very nice.
A really good first step would be reverse Citizens United and its predecessors and get the money out of politics so that some unelected rich guy like Musk can't buy one of the major parties and the presidency.
