Irritating to see new Competition Commissioner Ribera deliver one of her first political speeches at the annual conference of a consultancy that represents corporate clients against the Commission in merger cases. We hope to see other signals soon, such as a break-up of Google (Google-Adtech case). We call for an open, incluse competition policy that tackles monopoly power.
