I don't think I understand the question, but I think they do sense vibrations through their feet? As well as being able to make vibrations with their feet, though they're not as noisy as popularly depicted; they can walk quietly, and often do. But I would guess the ears and skull are more important for sensing vibrations, and the trunk and vocal system more important for making sounds.
