IMO You have Jessica Wildfire calls Sentinel intelligence.
We are the people who are sensitive to our surroundings and things that are coming toward us in our surroundings, even if other people don't even see those things yet, and we are the ones who think out ahead of time what might happen when those things reach us.
We are also the people that survive because of this, and, were we to be part of social groups, we would be the people who warned the group ahead of time and told them exactly what would happen.
Often, we are not listened to. Often, we are ridiculed. And often we are told that we are paranoid, thinking too much, and that the worst won't happen.
Then, when the worst happens, as in the power being off for five hours longer than you expected, we are also the ones who still get stuff done during that time.
I'm kind of jealous that you actually got to defrost your freezer!!! My freezer project has been on my list for three or four months now. I don't have to defrost it, but I bought shelves and bins so I could organize it, and those have just been sitting next to the refrigerator for... that long. 🤣
