I've implemented one keyboard shortcut to switch my #macos machine between dark and light modes (for the short burst of sunshine).

I've had a similar solution for hyprland.

It changes the system theme, neovim, kitty theme, and delta theme.

Many applications react to system mode (like Dark Reader plugin for firefox). It was and still is a monstrosity of hacks, such as using sockets to inform #neovim instances to change color schemes.

Thanks to #NixOs I'm able to stitch those hacks together 😍
