Did you know about audiobookshelf? It's an absolute #selfhosted must-have for #audiobook listening. It has an Android client, a fantastic web client, progress tracking, and user management.

I've implemented one keyboard shortcut to switch my #macos machine between dark and light modes (for the short burst of sunshine).

I've had a similar solution for hyprland.

It changes the system theme, neovim, kitty theme, and delta theme.

Many applications react to system mode (like Dark Reader plugin for firefox). It was and still is a monstrosity of hacks, such as using sockets to inform #neovim instances to change color schemes.

Thanks to #NixOs I'm able to stitch those hacks together 😍

I was looking into new $$$ monitors with built-in KVM to switch between 2 machines (#linux and #macos). I learned you can use a basic cheap USB switch and https://github.com/haimgel/display-switch to get the same effect since my monitor has two inputs, which I can alternate using ddcutil.

I'm happy to announce that almost all of my machines are running 24.11 #NixOs <3 The transition has been smooth apart from:

• https://github.com/LnL7/nix-darwin/issues/1041

• some small tweaks to smb config on the nas

• small guided renames here an there

I've added #immich and migrated #nextcloud to v30 😍
