Had a nice year discovering tons of new (to me) plants, birds, and fungi with iNaturalist Seek app. https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/seek_app

If you have nature lovers of any age in your life, one of the best gift you can give them is the ability to understand the world around them better.

It’s a free, open source, and privacy-respecting app which requires no account to use, so it’s safe for little ones.
