Boinas Elósegui is the last producer of Basque berets in Spain.

There is a Wikipedia article about it, in Basque (I used a translate tool). It says:

«History

Antonio Elosegi (1834-1905) from Tolosa founded a factory in Tolosa in 1858 to make socks. However, the socks were not very good, they were like a hat, so Elosegi decided to make hats»
