I'm on town water but I am still trying to increase my rainwater harvesting and usage. I tweaked the installation of my new tank this morning and I think it's ready. My total capacity is now 11,000 litres. If this rain keeps going I will start filling it soon.
Rainwater doesn't get as much publicity as solar and the electricity grid. It's much cheaper and easier to try out DIY installation ideas.
