Thanks for the reminder @Pollinators Since we'll get hard frost next week, I need to harvest quite a lot the coming days. Amongst it are carrots, which I'd like to turn into a carrot achar (from the Shockey book you recommended).
Dark days (literally and figuratively) are more bearable with good food.
