@anasti One point about Mastodon which is a little confusing when first joining is that each server represents a residence and a point of view.
The more specific your interests or needs, the more important the choice is. Some servers don't talk to each other for reasons of content or moderation.
Different servers are maintained more or less diligently. Sometimes they shut down. Migration of follows/followers to a new server is at least built-in.
l chose one with people I knew on Twitter.
