!n 1977, my company HQ was in Great Portland Street, London. Mild panic when I got a letter from LHW Co Ltd. saying they would no longer supply power for £13/pm. It was the London Hydraulic Power that had supplied power from the Tower Bridge engines to run lifts and heavy stuff in the surrounding few miles. 1877-1977.
