It was easier to rage against the Democrats growing up, with their victory laps on NAFTA, crime bills, wimping out on Bush v. Gore, going along with the big lies on WMDs, and generalized being neo-liberal sell outs who couldn't understand why they were losing popular support while being actively complicit in making America a scarier and scarier place to be poor. Harder in the era of ACA, student debt relief, meaningful industrial and climate policy, drug price controls, even if still so violent.
