Gone into the office 3 days in a row this week. And the office was full of people I work with rather than its usual mostly empty. And while great it was so intense. How did we live like this?

Taking on teaching the kiddo math as she's not getting the challenge she wants from school, and the various programs we've tried haven't worked out. It was easier to rage against the Democrats growing up, with their victory laps on NAFTA, crime bills, wimping out on Bush v. Gore, going along with the big lies on WMDs, and generalized being neo-liberal sell outs who couldn't understand why they were losing popular support while being actively complicit in making America a scarier and scarier place to be poor. Harder in the era of ACA, student debt relief, meaningful industrial and climate policy, drug price controls, even if still so violent.
