Reuters, today, in a story about Republicans having 52 to 54 Senate seats:
“Regardless, Republicans will not secure the 60-vote majority needed to advance most legislation in the chamber.”
That is not a thing. It’s only a thing if the incoming Senate decides in January that it’s a thing. And since they will own every branch of government please do not be like Reuters and be surprised if they reject that thing.
American news media really is good at misinforming people
