Hey, AoIRfriends, just a reminder that you can use "content warnings" (in the web interface, the triangle with !) for posts dealing with politics. For example, "uspol" for discussions of the election.
As others have noted, you actually will reach more people using them because folks looking for those discussions will find them right away, and you're more likely to be boosted. It's a bit different from Twitter in that regard.
