@lana @k8 @pippa On the flip side, when travelling in Romania in 1982, I met the elderly owner of a Yotsuya Fujiya. Like the person I was there to meet, he was a member of Sōka Gakkai. He'd had his wallet nicked, with a large sum of money, his passport, and all of his papers. He was quite cheerful about it, saying "The person who stole it did a bad thing, so that's very bad for him. I didn't do a bad thing so I am okay!"
Impressive spirit! I think owning land in central Tokyo helps though.
