Has anybody else noticed the vast increase in ads lately that are "jokingly" (but actually seriously) suggesting that people spend their entire life savings and sometimes more on insert product here? Like, companies are not even pretending to care whether or not consumers can afford rent, food, clothing, medicine, etc, anymore.
