I think that the main draw for me is the lack of moral ambiguity and unabashed enthusiasm in the community. No one is arguing about whether the scripting engine is a net negative for humanity or accusing anyone using it of being wrong; no one nitpicks their way into reinventing the wheel; and when someone releases a new thing, it’s either met with applause or, at worse, not a ton of engagement, but there’s never abject disdain. 2/3
