Regarding workouts, I recently learned an interesting method: set up a spreadsheet, track your reps for each set, then add everything and multiply it by the weight you're using. You get your "work" score, which you can then compare with previous sessions.
It's less relevant when mixing different weights in a single workout, but it's perfect for kettlebells and clubs, both useful and motivating. I'm wondering how to use it in different contexts.
