For everyone saying « please vote » I agree but add: it’s not that easy. It’s not about just going to the polling station.
See here in San Francisco, the ballot has:
25 ballot measures
4 federal offices
2 states offices
9 Local offices and boards

41 decisions to make.
This requires planning, reading news articles, candidates websites, voter guides, debating with my friends if I have the time which I wont’t.
This amount of decision making is frankly discouraging. I will vote. I know who I’ll vote for president, but I probably won’t have the patience to read and lookup smaller offices like the SF treasurer or SF school board.
So when you say « please make a plan to vote » and list things about registration, I would encourage you to also include « please plan who and what you will vote for ». Encourage people to look up sample ballots and to do research early so they don’t get discouraged in the booth and leave most of it blank.
