@moredread the nurse, and it wasn't the usual nurse, was referring to the evening ie after work and before bed.

She was also surprised that I had hearing aids in both ears and seemed to think I only needed them for work.

I don't know anyone who wears their hearing aids to bed :-) unless they have cochlear implants or course.
