I don't do or watch video stuff online but half tempted to join rednote and watch all the Americans flocking in, in opposition to the tiktok ban.

I've been doing an exercise regime provided by my physio every other day to strengthen my legs and knees and that is paying off.
A few days ago I increased the routines from 3 sets of 4 exercises to 4 sets and still good.
Next step will be to increase the weights from 4kg per hand to 5kg.

I think the number of followers I have on bluesky has increased by 25% in the last week. 25% sounds more impressive than 8 people.
Not in a hurry to post much there, mastodon suits my current mood.

I got new bookz! and stuff...arrivals for the last week.
Been catching up on PS Publishing Oz editions including Angela Slatter. I keep meaning to read her stuff and now midway through Bone Lantern and enjoying.
Grabbed an older Folio Theroux that will sit nicely beside the more recent Folio of his Patagonian Express. A little disappointed the 40th anniversary edition of Wasp Factory didn't have sprayed edges.
Also was time for a new ereader as the old one was having battery issues.

On one hand, glad for notifications from Qantas that plane is running 20 minutes late. On the other hand, that means I'll just miss my train and will have an hour wait for next one.

woohoo...new fireplace is going in today. That's been a bit of saga.
Old fireplace emitted little heat so needed replacing. It was removed a few weeks ago.
Hearth needed extending to match current regs so partner learnt how to lay concrete and tiles. She ripped up old tiles and put down new tiles.
All looking fab so far.

Saw a nurse to remove earwax and the they suggested I don't wear my hearing aids in the evening after work as that will improve airflow to ear and reduce wax buildup.
I explained I wear them all the time and she insisted it'd be better if I didn't wear them for a few hours each evening.
I had to explain I need to wear them all the time so I can hear.
