@cerberus1746 yeah! most 3D games take place mostly on a single plane, ideally that plane should be the xy plane, to simplify the most common projections in code, and to avoid having to transform/swizzle all the time
in my mind, Z should ideally be the least common axis of gameplay
sidescrollers/platformers? Y up
FPS/RTS/MOBA/racing? Z up
