I really hope this is just a temporary thing and that you persist!

I know that new email adresses can generally have that issue, especially if, as you describe, the same name existed in people's contact before under a different email.

I do know that the Microsoft 365 spam/phishing filter has been overly aggressive, filtering out actual emails and newsletters I wanted to get. But it did learn eventually after I kept correcting it.
