I just got an offer to help me with a programme to introduce DE&I at my company. Seems like they did not really look me up online...... It was interesting to see the language they used to convince me I needed their help. As if I was unaware of the concept and they could help me out to comply with regulations. Left a bit of a sour taste, to be honest. (It was from a renowned foundation here in NL)

This past year, we at IM Studio have been busy helping universities, initiatives and projects to better engage with their community and set change in motion. We did this by refining core values and messages and translating them to campaign strategies, coherent branding and effective infographics. Next to that we also organised some impactful community events, such as the Open Science Retreat and Barcamp.

Why oh why is there no DOI for the UNL Open Science Agenda on the actual document it self? And why is the English version not on Zenodo? Don't they want people to use and cite the document?

After going 'viral' here yesterday, 3 take aways: 1 I stated my DNS=OK, and yes, the DNS was indeed configured correctly (a surprise to many) 2 first time in a long time I got flak for caving in to the system. Normally I'm seen as too much of an activist hahaha so that was refreshing 3 people seemed to think I posted my complained only hours after changing my DNS. That was surprising to me. Anyway. Still have to ask everyone to whitelist me but I can't reach them...

UPDATE: PROTON HAS NOW RESPONDED TO MY SECOND TICKET! AFTER REPLYING WITH A BOT- LIKE REPLY THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PROBLEM TO MY FIRST TICKET

It is shocking that after moving from Google workspace to Proton as the back office for our professional email adresses etc, all the major Dutch institutions are blocking us as spam. All our contacts have to whitelist us individually. So I think we are forced to go back to Google, where we had this problem occasionally but not as massively as now. It seems the reason is that Microsoft, used by almost all institutions in NL, simply blocks all Proton mail .😈 ( DNS=OK configured)

Het is wel een ding dat universiteiten die als penvoerder optreden voor @OpenScienceNL projecten het IP en copyright opeisen voor wat er binnen het project wordt gecreeerd, nietwaar? In tegenstelling tot @SURF (die ook qua contracten en dergelijke voor ZZP mijlenver voorlopen)
