@drewdevault wrote a blog that rust developers should give up on rust-in-linux https://drewdevault.com/2024/08/30/2024-08-30-Rust-in-Linux-revisited.html he got negative reactions, that target him personally, which he posted here: https://hachyderm.io/@drewdevault@fosstodon.org/113055940248374740

But a paternalistic blog post is never friendly. He wrote a straight forward "fork off". So he should not be surprised that people disregard his opinion and his way of expressing opinions. Sure one could express disagreement more.
