FYI, if you're an American and need to renew your passport, they're doing a beta trial of a new ONLINE process that is EASY and FAST!

I just got mine less than 2 weeks after submitting my application! You don't even need to get a formal photo taken, as long as you can get a cell phone photo that meets requirements.
