@daniel_bohrer it might be "too late" - I feel like it's one of those movies you needed to see at the time they became cult films. I can't really see it as aged well.
I do in fact think it might have managed to not be transphobic while showing someone crossdressing to achieve their goal. But I'm not sure. I do know I really liked the movie but it's quite brutal.
