@zolotkey Podman can build containers from Dockerfiles and Containerfiles and runs on FreeBSD, using jails as the isolation mechanism. It’s in ports. There’s also a containerd port, but it’s been less reliable for me.
A Linux Dockerfile will normally contain a lot of Linux-specific (and Linux-distro-specific) commands. A lot of them will run on FreeBSD with the Linux ABI modules loaded, but it won’t give you FreeBSD binaries.
