Why don’t we have Network Administrators who know how to properly setup and manage a Firewall from scratch anymore? Everything needs to be an appliance that has some sort of back door or uniformly designed management tool that includes multiple layers of vulnerabilities just waiting for hackers to get around.

Thanks to @crest! He figured out an Issue I had on my FreeBSD host while I tried to jexec into a jail, was because of a uninstall security patch! :) The #FreeBSD #Jails calls are great!.

Ugh, our local tech cable store just closed its doors and went online only.. Another retail store loss to actually get cables last minute or day of. For being such a tech hub, Portland can't even keep a cable store afloat. Bah! #PDX

I have been using NetData on my #FreeBSD servers for a while and it’s been really nice to setup and maintain. All I have to do is adjust a config file and I get observation on Network traffic, CPU Usage, UPS, Apache/Nginx/HAProxy stats, and FPing. I love getting push notifications when a service/host is down. However the UI/UX has been less useful now that they went to a business. Is there a better alternative? LibreNMS? Suggestions from the FreeBSD community?

If the #NFL goes indoors then special teams become more obsolete. Punting, Kicking, and FG/PATs are impacted by natural wind. Choosing sides of the field, moot point! Won’t matter if the ball travels the same in the air during a FG try. Think about that #Browns fans!
