One of my #COVID19 posts on #LinkedIn was removed for misinformation. Apparently, sharing Federal Reserve data and a link to 1,600 studies on COVID risks is now misinformation! (What really pisses me off is that I asked for a review of the decision, and it took seconds for them to confirm they won't restore my post.) So, now I'm boycotting LinkedIn for a while. If they want to go the way of Twitter/X, then they'll do so without my content driving engagement and ad views.

@augieray I can't tell you how deeply disappointing it is to see so many people and companies in the so-called "land of the free" just bow down to the idiot dictator and his weirdo cronies.

Since I don't need LinkedIn anymore, I deleted my entire account a couple of months ago.

LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft, which we know has complied in advance.

@augieray I guess, in a way, companies like Facebook and LinkedIn, etc., really have been monopolies for a long time. And now they are catering to an audience of 1, having built their empires on the free content of so many, it's probably a great time to get some competition going.

@augieray I dumped LinkedIn some time ago. I used to joke that the biggest lie on the internet used to be, "I read the TOS." But nowadays, it's LInkedIn bios. :)
