I'd like to try melatonin and see what it's like not to wake up at 4am every day.
But I saw my GP 10 months ago and she said "gynaecology will be in touch", and I haven't heard a damn thing.
So is there any point in trying?

@miffyhelen having an adhd diagnosis, my psychiatrist prescribed melatonin. But it helps me fall asleep, not stay asleep

@Kierkegaanks that is good to know! I can fall asleep fine but my internal alarm goes off at 4am to remind me to think 57,000 thoughts. Gotta start at 4am or those thoughts won't get thunk!

@miffyhelen Have you tried two-shift sleep? People who are denied artificial lights in experiments tend to revert to sleeping in two shifts with 60-120 minutes awake time at night
