My local brewpub, Kulshan Brewery, has this poster in their front window. More businesses need to take a stand, post similar messages publicly, and identify themselves as safe spaces in the resistance.

Kulshan Brewery has two permanent locations in Bellingham and one seasonal one.

The "K1" the original location is on James Street near the Trader Joe's. "K2" the second location is in an industrial area on Kentucky Street.

In the summer months, Kulshan operates a huge beer garden called the Trackside in a shipping container village on Bellingham's waterfront right next to the downtown bicycle skills zone and pump track.

I'm not aware of any locations in Ferndale.

@shansterable@ohai.social@ohai.social We live in Aarhus, Denmark, but our daughter lives in Ferndale and works in Bellingham. We were a lot in Bellingham last summer, but we didn’t come across the Kulshan there. There are Kulshans in Lynden and Ferndale but they are veterinary hospitals.
