Schwarmintelligenz zu Hülf! :BoostOK: Ich würde gerne Dienste (HomeAssistant, owncloud, evtl. Mastodon, Pixelfed, …) auf eigenem Linux-Server zuhause hosten. Leerrohr für Glasfaser liegt schon. Was noch fehlt ist vernünftige Hardware, die einerseits möglichst stromsparend ist, andererseits leistungsfähig & flexibel genug ist, um mehrere VMs, Docker & einige Festplatten für ein RAID unterzubringen. Hardware übrig hast Du keine mehr? Muss man sich überlegen wie lange Du mehr Strom verbrauchen kannst wenn Du dein altes Board und CPU benutzt. RAID würde ich in Hardware nicht machen. PVE und zfs, je nach Plattenplatz nicht am RAM sparen

@jakob42 CBM 8032, C16, Apple IIe, Atari 1040STF und Co. kommen für den Einsatzzweck wohl eher nicht infrage… :) RAID selbstverständlich in Software. Niedriger Lärmpegel und möglichst gutes Verhältnis aus Leistung und Energiebedarf haben hohe Priorität.
