Bevorzugtes OS wäre debian, Budget bis grad so in den vierstelligen Bereich, Storage für Backup existiert bereits. Sollte idealerweise robuste, für Dauerbetrieb ausgelegte Hardware sein, redundante Komponenten würde ich für meinen UseCase und aus Kostengründen nicht unbedingt voraussetzen.

Schwarmintelligenz zu Hülf! :BoostOK: Ich würde gerne Dienste (HomeAssistant, owncloud, evtl. Mastodon, Pixelfed, …) auf eigenem Linux-Server zuhause hosten. Leerrohr für Glasfaser liegt schon. Was noch fehlt ist vernünftige Hardware, die einerseits möglichst stromsparend ist, andererseits leistungsfähig & flexibel genug ist, um mehrere VMs, Docker & einige Festplatten für ein RAID unterzubringen. Kennt Ihr den #VivaldiBrowser @Vivaldi? In Anbetracht der weltpolitischen Lage, habe ich beschlossen, den als Standardbrowser festzulegen. Das ist eine der wenigen Browser-Alternativen, die nicht aus den #USA stammen, sondern aus Norwegen & damit hoffentlich weitgehend unabhängig von #Trump|s Einfluss ist. Der bringt Ende-zu-Ende-verschlüsselte Synchronisation, sowie Ad-/Trackingblocker serienmäßig (auch auf iOS)!
